At Bow-wowLand we will be supporting a variety of charities and we will list them together with relevant links or information. We will make regular donations to these charities but do not intend to take donations on their behalf but rather urge our customers to donate direct to the charities themselves.

The first of these charities is called Last Chance Animal Rescue based near Edenbridge in Kent. Last Chance as their name implies, have a policy of not putting healthy animals down and put an enormous amount of effort, love and money into homing or looking after their visitors and as we can testify from direct experience, no effort is too great. One of the biggest problems they face is the homing elderly dogs so it is in that area that we will put particular effort by featuring them on these pages. NCDL National Canine Defence League, responsible for the "A Dog is for Life, Not just for Christmas" campaign, also have a policy of never putting a healthy dog down. They have just renamed the charity Dogs Trust
