Dog biscuit recipes Molly's Munchies

These recipes are all tasted and tested by Amber & Molly. They love them! If you can't persuade the boss to make these for you, then maybe you could use your pocket money to purchase a kit, or buy some of our hand-made biscuits.

Molly's Munchy Milk bones

350g plain flour
8 tbsp powdered milk
1 egg, beaten
100g margarine
125ml water

Place all dry ingredients into a food processor. Add the margarine and pulse until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the egg and pulse, then with the machine on, gradually add the water until the mixture goes into a ball. Kneed for a few minutes until smooth, then roll out to 0.5cm thick and cut into biscuits - preferably using a bone shaped cutter.

Brush tops of biscuits with milk (what else!). Bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes, until light brown, but hard, then turn off the oven and leave biscuits in to cool - preferably overnight.

Store in an airtight tin.

Peanut Butter Cookies

300g whole wheat flour
1 tbsp baking powder
3 tbsp peanut butter
125ml milk

Place all dry ingredients into a food processor. Add the peanut butter and milk to dry ingredients and pulse well until mixture balls. (If too wet, add more flour) Knead dough for 2 minutes, and roll out to 0.5cm thickness. Use a cookie cutter to roll out shapes. Bake at 180°C for 20-30 minutes, until light brown, but hard, then turn off the oven and leave biscuits in to cool - preferably overnight.

Store in an airtight tin.

These biscuits are a treat - not a source of food. Please don't give overweight (or other) dogs too many home made treats.
